Trezor unveils new flagship: The Trezor Safe 7 is here!

Exciting news from Prague: Trezor, one of the pioneers in crypto self-custody, has unveiled its latest and most advanced device yet – the Trezor Safe 7. The new flagship was unveiled at the Trustless by Design event in October 2025. It aims not only to meet the highest current security standards, but also to respond to future threats.

The Trezor Safe 7 is a completely new development and the manufacturer’s first device to offer a completely wireless experience. It has Bluetooth connectivity for mobile use and supports Qi2-compatible wireless charging. The design underlines the premium claim: a unibody housing made of solid aluminum, a large 2.5-inch color touchscreen and robust Gorilla Glass.

However, the real revolution is taking place on the inside. The Safe 7 is the first hardware wallet to be equipped with the “Tropic 01” – the world’s first auditable, i.e. completely open source, secure element. This transparency is a milestone for the “Trustless” philosophy. Trezor also advertises the fact that the Safe 7 is the first device to be “quantum-ready” and should therefore be armed against potential attacks by quantum computers.

We have analyzed what exactly is behind the auditable chip, how the device compares to the Trezor Safe 5 and Safe 3 and what quantum security is really all about in our detailed product article.

The Trezor Safe 7 can now be pre-ordered at a price of 249 euros. We are eagerly awaiting our test device and will also publish our comprehensive test report in the main article shortly.
